The Education Committee works towards developing the agenda for the upcoming conference and webinars throughout the year. 

There are several topics of interest, but we need people to present! 

This is an amazing opportunity for you to engage with your fellow airport auditors and provide valuable insights across the industry. 






When? 

The next AAIA Annual Conference will be in Denver, Colorado, from May 4 through May 7,  2025.

Webinars are held throughout the year and can be scheduled somewhat around your availability.


Where?

The Conference will be held at the Marriot's Le Meridien/AC Hotel Denver Downtown.  Conference presenters need to attend in-person.

Webinars will be held online.

What Topics are of Interest?


Based on feedback from prior conference surveys, the AAIA would like to offer more how-to presentations and panel discussions on specific audits performed by airports.  Topics requested by AAIA members include the bullet points shown to the right. 



Please note this is an evolving list of suggested topics – your suggestion does NOT have to fit within these topic areas.

How will Speakers be Selected for a Conference or Webinar Presentation?






Some of the factors we will consider when reviewing speaker proposals include:

  • Knowledge: Subject Matter Experts

  • Experience: Give live & engaging presentations

  • Duration: 50, 100, or 150 minutes; multiple sessions

  • Location: In-person at conference.  Virtual for webinars.

  • Presentation Format: 1-2 people; Panel 



What are the components of the Speaker Brochure?


Our online form is where you can volunteer to be a presenter. The information requested on the form includes:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Title
  • Organization Name




  • Description of proposed presentation:

    • Main Topic

    • Summary of what will be discussed

    • Format

    • Duration, and

    • Other Relevant Information
